Ronald Mutasa
Pro Bono Legal Officer

Ronald is a Pro Bono Legal Officer responsible for the pro bono broker service to bring our legal partners together with development partners, touching upon a range of legal issues across a wide variety of jurisdictions. For the last decade, Ronald was a projects development lawyer with DLA Piper Africa Zimbabwe (Manokore Attorneys), responsible for helping US and UK-based firms to deliver complex infrastructure and renewable energy projects, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa. He also proactively worked with the firm’s pro bono leads to initiate, participate in and lead pro bono programs, in many instances, bringing together lawyers from across DLA Piper’s global offices in Africa, Europe, and North America to deliver these programs.

Ronald holds an LLBS (Honours Degree) in Law from the University of Zimbabwe, a Diploma in International Arbitration and several post-graduate certificates in project management (Prince2) and research. He is a published author, experienced course trainer and regular speaker at international conferences.
