Maisie Zheng
Communications Volunteer

Maisie works with the Communications team to raise the profile of A4ID’s work. She helps to improve legal and development stakeholder engagement by developing accessible and impactful digital content. Maisie also supports the organisation of innovative events to increase A4ID’s outreach to a broader audience.

As a Geography with Economics student at the London School of Economics, Maisie is passionate about international affairs, emerging economies and urban centres. Her previous experience volunteering and fundraising for charities such as the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development (CAFOD), Amnesty International and SDG Corps has increased her interest in political rights, global justice and the refugee crisis. At A4ID she is keen to expand her knowledge of the role of the law as a key facilitator in global development.

Maisie aspires to work with international NGOs in the future and is volunteering at A4ID to gain insight into non-profit communications and the legal sphere. She is due to study a semester abroad in International Relations at the Fudan University in Shanghai, and then plans to complete a Masters in Global Governance and Diplomacy.
