Josh Singer
Pro Bono Projects Volunteer

Joshua is currently working with the Pro Bono Legal Services team, facilitating partnerships between A4ID’s Development and Legal Partners by assessing the legal requirements for each project and compiling feedback reports through interviews with Development Partners following the completion of projects.

Upon graduating from the University of Manchester with an LLB Law degree, Joshua began working at The Association of British HealthTech Industries (ABHI) to promote ethical procurement and the protection of labour rights within the Medical Devices industry. Joshua worked to increase industry engagement with corporate social responsibility issues through the development of a series of human rights case study reports, scrutinising existing industry practices that undermine ethical standards and put workers throughout global supply chains at risk of abuse.

Joshua seeks to use his time at A4ID to broaden his understanding of the role of law within a development context, with the intention of pursuing a career at an international NGO focused on protecting workers’ rights in developing countries.
