Grace Flanagan
Pro Bono Projects and Operations Volunteer

Grace Flanagan works with both A4ID’s Pro Bono Legal Services and Operations Teams to ensure A4ID’s activities run smoothly.

Grace is in her third year studying a History BA at Cambridge. During her undergraduate degree, Grace’s research has focused on political history and political theory, and she hopes to apply these academic interests to the law and international development sectors whilst working at A4ID. She is particularly interested in learning how the rule of law can be applied to reduce inequalities and achieve peace, justice and strong institutions (Goals 10 and 16 of the SDGs). Grace intends to focus some of her research at A4ID on how the law can be leveraged to reduce corruption and political instability in Latin America.

After graduating, Grace intends to complete a Master’s in Intellectual History or International Relations, before training as a solicitor. Once qualified she would like to specialise in public law.
