Augusta Itua
Interim Learning and Knowledge Officer

Augusta is the Interim Learning and Knowledge Officer at A4ID. She supports the Acting Learning and Development Manager with the development of A4ID’s ‘thought leadership’ and ‘learning’ activities and will be primarily working on the launch of the Legal Guide to the Sustainable Development Goals, written in collaboration with A4ID’s Legal and Development Partners.

Augusta is currently completing her period of recognised training to qualify as a Solicitor in England and Wales at Just for Kids Law, a UK charity that works with and for children and young people to hold those with power to account and fight for wider reform. She is committed to supporting and empowering vulnerable children and young people, particularly those involved in the Criminal Justice System, by helping them access and secure specialist legal representation. Prior to joining A4ID she held a number of positions within the charity sector, including as a Project Officer at Become where she was responsible for the design and delivery of the award-winning Passport to Parliament Project.

Augusta holds a Master’s degree in Politics and International Relations and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Commercial Legal Practice (LLM). She is native in Italian, fluent in English and has good knowledge of Spanish.
