Online Legal Health Check

A4ID works with all its development partners to identify and scope their legal needs. The A4ID Online Legal Health Check is one tool we offer to help you consider your organisation’s legal needs, offering a quick and easy first assessment. It is free to access, can be completed in stages and by different people if you wish.

Before starting the Online Legal Health Check, you will be asked to provide your name and contact details. If you appear to be from an organisation that is or could be one of our development partners, we may use this information to contact you afterwards to see how we might assist you in finding lawyers to provide pro bono advice on the legal needs that have been identified. You are also welcome to contact us at [email protected] to discuss the results and ask us to seek lawyers to assist.

Following registration, you will then be asked to complete a series of mostly multiple choice or yes/no questions about your organisation, grouped into various categories. Responses to your answers will be generated, giving you some short legal guidance and suggesting areas in which you may wish to consider obtaining legal advice. You will be able to download and keep your answers and the A4ID responses. The report can then be worked through over time and is intended to be a useful starting point for you to examine your legal needs further, with the assistance of A4ID. A4ID will have access to your responses so that we can discuss your responses with you. None of the information you provide will be shared beyond A4ID without your agreement.

Based on the information received in response to the online questionnaires, the A4ID Online Legal Health Check explores some of the potential legal issues your organisation may need to address. It does not purport to identify every legal need your organisation has, nor does it provide legal advice on which you should rely. A4ID will not be responsible for any failure to identify or alert you to any particular legal need of your organisation.
