New podcast: legal and governance challenges in South Sudan

It was our AGM on 3 May 2011 and we were pleased to be joined at the House of Commons by Richard King, a former lawyer and acting CEO of the NGO, Concordis.

Richard gave a fascinating insight into the role that the law should play in the development of a newly independent South Sudan. As well as looking at the reasons for the referendum and the legal and governance challenges facing the country, he also highlighted the role of the international community in securing South Sudan’s future development.

If you missed the evening or would like to hear Richard’s talk again, you can download the podcasts here.
