In the second part of the Annual Law & Development Training Programme, Amanda Perry-Kessaris, Professor of International Economic Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, gave a fantastic presentation on the ways in which legal systems (laws and institutions) are important determinants of comprehensive (economic, political and social) development.
