Throughout 2016, A4ID is running a series of four Knowledge Groups covering a variety of key development themes held in central London.
A4ID Knowledge Groups offer lawyers and those with an interest in the subject the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of key areas of law relating to international development. They are organised into four topics with three sessions each throughout the year.
- The first session provides a legal topic update. This will be delivered by a legal expert in order to provide participants with an understanding of the law surrounding the topic area.
- The second session will be a policy and practice update. This will be delivered by a professional working for an organisation who are actively working on the topic area.
- The third session will involve a group discussion on how lawyers can have an impact on the topic. At the end of this session, participants will be given the opportunity to sign up for continued involvement which will be derived from the content of the third session.
